Hello!

I am Harshitha Uddagiri

I'm a spatial and experiential designer who thinks about how people move through, feel in, and remember a place. My work spans retail environments, restaurants, hospitality spaces, and themed attractions — and what ties it all together is a belief that good design isn't just about how a space looks. It's about what it makes you do, and how long it makes you want to stay.

I've worked across a lot of different scales — from a Farzi Café outpost in Kolkata to themed educational environments at Merlin Entertainments in Orlando to 80+ residential clients where I handled everything from in-home consultations and field measurements to floor plans, 3D visualizations, and full FF&E selections. Each one taught me something different about how to hold a design vision together while navigating budgets, vendors, timelines, and the gap between what a client says they want and what they actually need.

I hold an MFA in Themed Entertainment Design from SCAD and a Bachelor of Design in Interior Design from Manipal. I'm based in Asheville, NC, and open to where the right project takes me.
